We are actively engaging with Congressional and Senate offices to ensure that due process, transparency, and fairness are upheld for all service members affected by this policy.

Why it matters:
DoDI 5505.07 carries lifelong consequences for individuals wrongly titled in criminal investigations — even when individuals are cleared of wrongdoing or the allegations are found to be unsubstantiated. There is currently no formal notification process, meaning service members may not even know they’ve been titled until it impacts their careers or lives. We're fighting to ensure complete expungement and correction procedures that are accessible and just.
